The TexSCADA offers all the power and flexibility of a traditional DCS with the safety and reliability of local control. Our system can be controlled centrally by any networked workstation or even by a laptop with modem dial-up. Safety is brought to a new level, however, by executing all control logic locally. Local DCS controllers can be controlled locally and will operate independently, allowing complete system operation even with all PC workstations shut down. This level of safety is available in other DCS systems only by completely mirroring workstations and black boxes. |
