Mill Operating and Controlling System - MOCS |
||||
Texcomp Technologies made entry into Textile field some ten years ago by supplying computerised CSP system to reputed Textile Mills in Mumbai. Slowly it widened its activities from Blowroom to Fabric Inspection. The latest addition is complete Computerisation System for a Textile Mill popularly known as MOCS ( Mill Operating and Controlling System ). This is equivalent to ERP solutions marketed by world famous SAP, MFG-PRO etc. In MOCS the entire operation of the spinning mill can be controlled through computer. In other words the operations of mill like Fibre Bale Management, Production, Quality, Sales, Finance, Costing, Waste Control, Payroll, Time Office Activity, Inventory control, Packing, Planning and Forecasting can be controlled through computer. In simple words one can always know the actual Production against the raw material purchased with complete knowledge of Profit and Loss. This is possible by installing Texcomp various producs at Blowroom, Ring Frame, Waste Godown, and Packing. Further Blowroom to winding each machine production data can be directly collected through the Electronic Counters to the Central Computer System OR can be manually fed to the Central Computer System. Similarly the Quality test Data can be manually fed or the Quality Control equipment can be directly connected to the Central Computer System. The data such collected will be processed through our intelligent software to produce meaningful reports on Production and Quality. Similarly, more data will be collected on various aspects like energy consumed, inventory, sales, spare parts consumption, salary, packing material and so on to cover every possible expense/income. The in-built software processes all these valuable data and generates useful report on each subject mentioned herein above. The MOCS gives instant response to any changes in the data entry made at any point in the Textile Mill and makes the appropriate changes in the final reports generated. Even though all the valuable data with their conclusions are available all the time all over the system, there will be always partition which will not allow one department to know the activities of other departments. In short it is always possible for the key person to have a overall picture of the entire set-up, the individual department head will only be able to view the information concerning to their respective department only. The world famous software giants namely SAP, MFG-PRO, People Soft and Bann have already made entry in Indian Industry for providing ERP solutions. Their software though successfully practiced in some of the methodical Industries but they are finding it hard to get their foot in Textile Industry. We are proud to be Indias first company who has successfully implemented an ERP solution i.e. MOCS in Indian Textile Industry. |
