On-Line Production Monitoring System |
|
|
Texcomp's On-Line Monitor
contains facilities which when used effectively will aid in the efficient use of your
production line. It is connective through its use of industry standard components. It
provides for easy access to shop floor systems, PLCs, hardwired I/O, barcode readers,
weighing systems and the plant operators.
On-Line Monitor captures production line data. It provides a simple product schedule
system, which can be integrated to scheduling and sales order processing systems. |

Texcomp's On-Line Monitor
contains |
|
|
- Production Line Status
Indication of production line status.
- Counts
Indications of batch counts.
- Products
Indication of the current and next product in the product schedule. Product code selection
of next product at product change.

Communications |
|
|
Texcomp On-Line Monitor can
communicate with your production line's control system or directly interface to hardware
signals. |
|
|
Automatic Stops |
|
|
Automatic stops occur when the
production line control system detects a fault within one of the machines on the
production line. When this happens, the machine reports an automatic stop to the operator.
texcomp's On-Line Monitor picks up these alarms and uses them to record automatic stops. |
|
|
Reports |
|
|
Texcomp On-Line Monitor links
to Texcomp MIS Reports to provide access to production line data with its easy to use
predefined reporting tools. Reports contains facilities to manage and analyse machine and
production line data. It provides a simple product scheduling system, which can be
integrated with scheduling and sales order processing systems. A basic set of summary and
detailed reports are available it allows quick and easy analysis and understanding of
production problems. |
|
|
Sequencer |
|
|
It allows the control of digital
and analogue outputs and specialised devices in a manner pre-defined in a sequence.
Multiple sequences can be run at the same time by running multiple instances of the
sequencer application. Sequences can be specified to run automatically on starting the
sequencer application. When a sequence is running, the current step is indicated to the
user. Controls are provided to allow the user to start, stop, restart and single-step the
sequence. As well as reading and writing digital and analogue I/O, commands are included
to control loggers, alert an operator and execute other programs. |

On-Line Production Monitoring in

Textile Industry following are the departments where on-line data collection helps in
improvement in quality and enhancement in productivity:

Bottleing Management System
(TexBMS) : Management of Bottleing Rooms |
|
|
The importance of bottleing rooms and their management. Bottleing rooms are extremely
important in drinks production. In this area, losses in production are difficult to
recover. In the factories of the 21st Century, machines do not provide competitive
advantages. Faster machines do not necessarily imply production increases and, at best, it
implies the same for rival companies. The competitive difference in the factory of the
future depends on effective management of equipment, lines and staff.
