Machine vision
processes images captured electronically by a CCD camera. A trigger signal from a photoelectric sensor or similar device indicates the presence of an object and initiates the capture. The system then transfers the image to a central processing unit, which analyzes the data. Results of the calculations determine what action is to be taken.

A CCD camera is a sensor that consists of a 2-D array of picture elements called pixels. Each pixel builds up charge proportional to the amount of light incident upon it. The charge is output as an analog signal, and the signal is digitized into discrete numerical units by the central vision processor. This data is then compared with standard and if any discrepancy is found the corrective mechanism is activated.

Machine Vision
, is comprised of custom hardware and software working together to capture and analyze images of moving parts in 3D space. The principal applications of machine vision technology have been implemented in the manufacturing arena where it has been proven to be responsible for cost-cutting productivity improvements.

Machine Vision
improves quality control by part inspection during manufacturing process. Precision measurement, flaw detection, assembly inspection are among the means to maintain or achieve the quality your customer expects of your products.

Benefits:
  • Factory Friendly, Easy to Install, & Easy to Use
